Help me name a boy, I have no clue!!

I have a feeling this bump is a boy. Girls' names I have coming out of my ears. Boys' names I am stuck at;

Edward (the current fave)
Alexander (love but ridiculously popular)
Dominic (DH not keen)
Jonathan (not convinced...)

I don't love any of them.

Can't have anything ending in L because surname ends in L and it sounds daft, which is a shame because I really like Michael.

So inspire me please. I don't want too outlandish, nothing rhyming with Jaydon...I just can't think of anything.

I'm having the same difficulty coming up with boys names for my little one due in October. Have to admitt I don't LOVE any of your names myself but neither do I dislike them ( ok maybe dislike Jonathan). Name's I have as possibilities include Samual, Dylan and Sebastian (Seb). Good luck X

I like your shortlist names.

How about William, George, Nicholas, Gregory, James, Patrick, Benjamin, Thomas, Tristan, David, Isaac, John, Aaron, Henry, Adam, Lawrence, Oliver?

Rex
Felix
Xander
I like names with x's in them!

Jonathan is a great name, a classic, and has lots of cute short names

How about Charles/Charlie or Archie?

GwendolineMaryLacey · 26/07/2011 11:19

I like Samuel but again, it's the L thing :(

My mother would love me forever if I chose George...I just can't quite get with it. We have about 99 James's in the family and also Benjamin, Thomas and John. I do like Patrick (Paddy)

Like William but our surname is the same as the Barbara Windsor's family in Eastenders and they've got a Billy...

Would it be silly to call a boy Lydia?

Edit: I know that lots of people, and this child's contemporaries won't care about Eastenders names but in my head it sticks out IYSWIM

Yep :o I had to rule out Veronica (Ronnie) which I've loved since Ronnie Birtles in Grange Hill, for a girl obv). That one was a complete no go :o
