Boys names that go with 'Cox'?

Hi All
Desperate for help! I'm due on 25th Dec and not going to find out the sex, but if it's a boy, we are really stuck with names! I absolutely love William and always have done, before I met my hubby, but Willy Cox is asking for trouble!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I love traditional names - nothing too trendy. But I've been through so many books and find it just impossible to come up with anything that goes really well with a short name. I'm hoping my mumsnet chums can come up with something amazing!!
Thanks in advance! xx

More or less anything - except William, Richard, Louis or John Thomas. And perhaps keep off the initial R (to avoid the near homophone "our").

Also best to avoid Isaac and Mike...

I knew a poor woman called Gay Cox. She had the sort of job that meant her name got printed in brochures a lot. Just felt so sorry for her!

Cox is a fine surname. Never crossed my mind it could be considered rude.

Jonathan
Sebastian
Gabriel
Benjamin
Dominic
Harry
Joshua

I think a longer name is nicer with a short surname.

WiiUnfit · 26/07/2011 13:28

I think Harry might be a bit close to Hairy Collision Grin
