Bingham Bellamy?

Sounds like a Christmas song - Bingham Bellamy on high, in heaven the bells are ringing...

hoofhearted · 14/07/2011 21:26

Is this name for real???

MelinaM · 14/07/2011 21:27

It is indeed!!! It reminds me of Mr Bingley in Pride & Prejudice Grin

nay nay and thrice I say nay

PirateDinosaur · 15/07/2011 09:42

There are good family reasons for it, though. His mother's maiden name was Bingham, and her [step]-grandfather (Kurt Russell's father) was named Bing. And Hawn is obviously after Goldie.

Fimbo · 15/07/2011 09:45

It would have sounded a bit nicer if they had maybe double barrelled their surnames.

Bingham Hudson-Bellamy sounds better than Bingham Bellamy

MsChanandlerBong · 15/07/2011 13:36

Sounds a bit like a firm of solicitors, but presumably the child will grow up in Americal where surnames as first names are more commonplace so I think he'll be OK!

Bandwithering · 15/07/2011 13:48

Awful but Bing for short is ok. It's the Bingham that is really stupid. Mind you, older brother Ryder...... ryder Confused as in shagger? oh dearie me.

True chandlerbing, it sounds a lot more normal in the usa. So he won't have a weird name there. or at least not a really weird name.

razzlebathbone · 15/07/2011 14:37

It's one of the worst names I've ever heard. Bing or Bingham are bad enough on their own but coupled with Bellamy it's like some stupid comedy name. Bing!!?? Just NO!

shoobidoo · 15/07/2011 14:51

Really, Bingham Bellamy Shock? For a boy or girl?

FairyArmadillo · 15/07/2011 14:54

Oh... I assumed from the title it was another one of those baby name wind up threads. But it's real!

NerfHerder · 15/07/2011 15:08

Oh- I thought they'd had a boy named Arthur! WHo was that then?

MelinaM · 15/07/2011 15:17

Claudia Winkleman named her son Arthur last week.

I think its quite cute!

Lonnie · 15/07/2011 20:29

I like it

MugglesandLuna · 15/07/2011 21:47

Bingham is a town near where I live.

Its an odd name. I understand Hawn is her Mums name but its just too close to horn for it to be nice.

Karbea · 15/07/2011 22:24

Nope. I agree that it sounds like a firm of solicitors.

UrsulaBuffay · 17/07/2011 00:16

It's bloody awful.
