A close friend is looking for a strong traditional boys name that is not too popular. So far she is drawing a blank.
Names that are out are:
George
Patrick
William
Luke
All which are already in the family.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Andrew means strong

Charles is the most strong and traditional name I can think of.

Names ending in a hard consonant seem to sound masculine to me...

bigbluebump · 12/07/2011 21:23

Whereas Laurence is very feminine to my ears, as is Florence.
