Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think.

Girls
Charlotte
Harriet
Jennifer
Jessica

They're all lovely classic names. My order of preference is

1. Jennifer
2. Jessica
3. Harriet
4. Charlotte

Harriet is my favourite, as my daughter will confirm!

I really like Harriet, Charlotte is quite nice, but Jennifer and Jessica are the two names that I have an irrational hatred of. I have no idea why!

I like Harriet the best. Jessica and Charlotte are nice names but have been done to death. Never been really keen on Jennifer.

Jennifer ...hate Jen or Jenny
Jessica ...not a fan at all!

Jennifer

1. Jennifer. I have one, she's lovely, and all the NNs are lovely
2. Harriet, classic yet unusual enough to be a little funky
3. Charlotte, nice, pity she will get the rhyming slang nick name.
4. Never liked this one, sorry.

I think I like Jennifer the best. A classic name and unusual enough.

Really dislike Jessica. The others are sort of 'now' names -- I prefer Harriet to Charlotte.

Harriet and Jennifer are my favourites. Jessica is also a nice name. Not keen on Charlotte, really. A bit vanilla.
