Two 'meaning' names are clunky, aren't they?

We need two middle names (I don't know why, we just do).

I tend to like positive meaning words - but I can't have more than one of these in a name, can I?

Eg Juniper Liberty Joy Smith
Liberty + Joy is a bit of overkill.

We also like Noa as a middle name but you have to be careful with Noa as it sounds like you are negating the sentiment after it: Juniper Noa Joy sounds like 'No Joy' which is bad.

Then Juniper Farah Joy - but Farah means Joyful. Is that too much doubling up? I think it is.

Hmmmm.

How about names which have a nice meaning but are a little less obviously virtue names, or more popular so they're not as noticeably similar but still have a lovely meaning? I wouldn't use two with the same meaning (Farah/Joy).

I think an obvious virtue name like Liberty alongside a name with a virtue meaning like Farah would work.

2 that mean the same thing would be a bit pointless unless you just love the names.

Are there male virtue names?

Well if you read TP there are vice names for boys - Anger etc. (Think it's in Lords and LAdies but could be wrong...)

Victor could be construed as a virtue name; so could Christian in one way.

I'm sure there must be others...

Ha! just remembered - one of the TP characters was called Bestiality (he hated animals)

You could use Thrift for a boy - sounds like a boy's name
Honor can be a boy's name - I know a bloke who has it for a middle name
Valiant makes a nice name

Brian means Strength
Devlin - fierce courage
Gregory - watchful/vigilant

Ilario: ?Cheerful" or "merry" in Italian.
Tait:"Cheerful" or "gay" in Old Norse.
