How can it be pronounced Failure if it ends in IA, surely it is pronounced Fay Lia, to rhyme with the flower dahlia, with no R at the end?

Worst name I heard this week was a toddler called Urban, a wee girl, too.

Worst still my mate called her little girl peekaboui moon. Pronounced peek a boo, her reason is a shorter version is pee and is cute. Love my mate, but madness. Chicken me said it was lovely and unusual.

I pronounce "failure" the same way as "fay lia". I suppose if you have a bit of a burr in your accent it would be different.

Undiscovered - depends on your accent - Dahlia, Failure, and Thalia (assuming 'th' pronounced 'f' ) would all have the same ending where I'm from.
