Freddie, Ethan, Albert or Dylan?

I'm expecting my first in a few weeks time and we're going round and round in circles on names. We probably won't decide until he's actually sat in front of us, but can i ask for your thoughts on these names? (And suggestions of any similar ones?) Thank you!

I like Dylan the best.

Ethan and Freddie ok, bland imo.

Not very keen on Albert.

Albert is my favourite. Lots of variations - Albie, Bertie, Al, Bert....

Albert.

But please use full name as well as nicknames.

I love Albert and Ethan. We're expecting a boy in October and have really struggled for names! Think we're going to go for Niall though :)

See! This is my problem. How on earth do people find names that other people don't hate? Do I just need to grow a thicker skin and go for whichever I like? Or does the perfect name exist somewhere?

Don't worry usual, I am pretty thick skinned so I'm not sobbing into my birthing ball. I just wish we could decide! I'm really hoping that when baby is here we'll just think "oh, of course, he's a [insert PERFECT name]"

Freddie is great as nickname for Frederick. Also like Dylan. Albert is OK. Ethan is too similar to ethanol.

I'd go for Freddie, but I have a Frederick, known as Freddie, so I'm biased :)

We were the same, didn't pick his name for definite until he was in front of us. Frederick was going to be his middle name, as my DP didn't like Freddie, but when he was born, we decided that Freddie was, indeed, the PERFECT name for him!

Another Frederick, Freddy for short here. Great name really suits cheeky & v. handsome little dudes

Freddie is one of the coolest names going!! Seriously....my best friends little boy is a 7 year old Freddie and he's a dude....

Freddie and Albert are my favourites, Dylan is awful.
