So if the baby names I like for girls are Annie, Connie, Frances, Clementine, but dh not keen, what other names might I like that are of this type?

My Connies middle name is Jean but i wish sometimes i had of thought to use Jeanie as a 1st name. Its after her great Nan as she was the only one of my dd's she didnt meet

I absolutely love Ethne but the kids dad hated it. I still havent met another one. I have a Romilly and have never met one in real life. If i had another one i think i would use Estelle for a girl and Jamieson for a boy.

I love it too, but it is not pronounced Ethne, but rather Etna(volcano in Italy)

I would have used it in its English form Ethne which i think is Greek but there are many variations, Eithne pronounced En-yah in gaelic i think. I read up on it years ago but cant remember now.

Can't believe someone else has called their daughter Constance Jean Fifi! Thats my DD1s name too!

I love your names! Especially Annie and Frances. I like Clementine too, although personally thinks this works best as a middle name.

There is an 'n' sound in the middle all the names you've picked... I've noticed that people often pick names for their children which share similar sounds to their or their partners' names - or both.

Ive got a Romilly as well. My eldest dd hates her name though so 2 out of 3's not bad

Sorry that reads wrong Romilly is dd2, DD1 hates her name and prefers the other name i had picked.

Ah Fifi beat you to it - DD1 is 22. Everyone calls her Connie or Con though except on Sundays!

Yes mine too, shes usually just gets Con

I also have a Connie, her middle name is Bridget. (She is Conniekins at home though )
