In a bit of a flap because we only have 6 weeks before the little wriggler pops out. He's currently giving me a good kick in the bladder and seems to like the breech position!

We both like Heath and Samson because they are classic an underused. But is Samson too risky (although DP and I are both tall and blond)?

Would love to know the mumsnet verdict, especially any chaps / husbands / partners as I've learnt recently that most men have a very different reaction to names than we girls.

I love Samson! And if your DS did feel it was too "out there" he could call himself Sam which is lovely too.

PrettyCandles · 19/06/2011 21:35

Heath is lovely. Samson OTOH is a bit risky - too many expectations from such a name.

Both very nice - classic underused names but if I had to choose, I'd say Heath. Also Samson would likely be called Sam, which would be a shame as there are already lots of little Sams (Samuel).

I don't like either I am afraid. A bit too out there for my taste but hey if you like them then use them!

Hi TheSecondComing. Thanks for your honesty. I think we have different tastes. I like Stanley from your list though - but not keen on "stan". Patrick is nice but again, I dislike "Pat" or "Paddy".
