Nathan (nn Nat) - very nice

Agree with your hubby on Sebastian (sorry)

Love your girl names except Flora, Imogen would be my fav.

How about Henry, Alexander, Rory, Jack, Jacob and

Lily, Violet, Sophia, Elizabeth, Clarice

VeronicaCake · 14/06/2011 11:37

I know a Nathaniel who is gorgeous, and Nat is a nice straightforward abbreviation too. I also know a gorgeous Sebastian but his German parents think Bastian is a good nickname and I really don't think that will work in an English playground!

Given your girls names what about Rose, Amy, Amelia, Caroline, Phoebe?

sophiesmummie · 14/06/2011 12:38

Bastian or Basty - not good in the UK Smile. The problem with Sebastian is its lack of nice nicknames imo - Seb/Sebbie is awful (and reminds me of sebacious, oily) and Bast/Basty is too close to bastard in English...

I like Cameron and Frederick. How about Quentin (Quinn), Alexander (Alex) or Tobias (Toby)? I also like Flora and Anna.

nickstermum · 14/06/2011 14:25

surname is webb.. not good with Seb... Grin but i thought it was cool... agree with Basty though..!
Alex is a family name
love sophia
Clarice reminds me of clarice starling Confused

Not keen on tallyho names but woudl like something a little less popular...?

With a short surname you need a un-shortenable 2 syllable first name imo. These sound good imo:
Nathan Webb
Quentin Webb
Adam Webb
Flora Webb
Anna Webb

Gillybobs · 14/06/2011 16:32

Nathan is nice as are: Owen, Aaron, Lewis,Aidan

For girls I like, Ella, Nuala, Ruby (I know 3 little sisters with those names, super cute), Grace and Libby
