Gorgeous name

Love it. I had a horse once called Allegreta and I thought at the time it was a beautiful name for a human!

I like it - I know two baby Gretas...thinking it might be a name that is becoming more popular

And there I thought I was being brave... I don't want to end up with the next Ava

My DD aged 6 months is Greta Rose Isobel. DH wanted Olivia, but I stuck to my guns! He loves it now. For me, the attraction of Greta was that it's not common, is sweet for a little girl without being twee and I think, quite sexy for a woman (Greta Saachi, anyone?!)

Love it. Will last a lifetime -- very elegant in a grown up, sweetly serious for a child.

I love it! Can't get as common as Ava, surely? It is a bit harsher sounding so not going to be as popular I'd have thought...

I like Greta and Marta. A friend was going to call her dd Gretchen, which I thought was cool but others hated.

I think DH might be warming to it . it helps that his older sister (with whom he is very close) LOVES it
