Theresa or Therese.

Theresa

Theresa?

Teresa
Thomasin

I knew a girl once who was named just Tessa.

Unfortunately 'TESSA' was also the name of some savings account - Tax Exempt Special Savings Account - which I once had!

Can be short for Teresa but is just fine on its own, and its unusual enough now not to have meet another little girl with the same name in 8.4 years - have met a few old ladies and several dogs though :o

Love Tessa as it isSmile Tessa is the English diminutive of the Greek Teresa, so it is a name in it's own right, but some more possibilities for you:

Contessa
Esther
Tessalie
Tessamine
Tessia
Tessla
Thessalia
Tristessa
Quintessa

.....some are a little 'out there'Grin

PurveyorOfBaloney · 10/06/2011 23:40

Esther

I've only heard it as short for Teresa. Anything else would be stretching it a bit, I think.

I like Tessa on its own, lovely name.
