Raja - means 'anticipation' in Arabic and is a boy or girl name.

Eashita - means 'wanted' in Hindi - girl

Onida -means 'the expected one' in 'Native American' (which NA language it doesn't say so I'd take it with a pinch of salt) -girl

Esperanza - means 'Hope' in Spanish - girl

Nadia - means 'Hope' in Russian - girl

Also 'Biton' means 'born after a long wait' and is apparently 'African' (I guess in much the same way Athelred & Claudia are 'European' -nice and specific).

Molly means longed for child in Hebrew (in fact all the names that come from Mary I think have this meaning). I have one, and she was a longed for child and worth every BFN I had to go through to get her. It'll happen and will be totally worth the wait.

There's lots of names that mean "gift", either of God or otherwise. Amadore (girl), for example, means "Gift of love".
