Lucinda Florence, Florence Lucille or Lucille Florence?

Narrowed it down to these. Seems crazy but I keep going round in circles deciding between these. I like cinders as a nickname or lulu or flossie/florrie. Bit bored of hearing Lucy (dh's fave) - no offence but very popular round here. I think Lucille is quite elegant and makes me think of a designer/someone arty but dh thinks its too American sounding (even tho' its actually French).

They are all great but don't forget that whatever you shorten the name to other people will use whatever diminutive they feel like especially once she starts school (an unimaginable step....but it comes faster than you know) so if you really don't want her to be Lucy...........................personally i love Lucille Florence, sounds very stylish.......

I prefer Lucille to Lucinda and think that Florence Lucille flows better than Lucille Florence, so that would be my vote.

I prefer Lucinda. Not keen on Florence, and definitely not on Flo as a nn.

Florence Lucille out of the three. Prefer Lucia or Lucy to Lucinda/Lucille though.

My DD's middle name is Lucille, it's got great metre with the second syllable being stressed and those continuant consinants flow prettily imo. (Overanalyse much? Moi?Grin)
I think it's a pretty cool name, like someone might name their beautiful classic car or handcarved tournament-winning pool cue.

In this order I prefer

Lucille Florence
Lucinda Florence
Florence Lucille

Also quite like Luella but it's been a bit panned on here!

Lucille Florence is the best from your list, very classy and not overused.

Lucinda Florence

Lucille is a lovely name, so I vote for Lucille Florence.

Thanks for the feedback and nice comments. You've made me feel better about Lucille. I think Lucille Florence looks best aswell for some reason so I am leaning towards this now.
