Vivian, Vivienne or Vivien?

I'm partial to "Vivienne" but DH thinks it's pretentious (though he's succumbed to my insistence on it).

All three seem to be traditional spellings.

Thoughts?

Vivienne is a beautiful name! Nowhere near as keen on the others. I had a car called Vivian, and he was definitely a boy...

Love Vivienne - was my name for dc4 if it was a girl - twas a boy though - the VERY first thing I thought when I had him was "oh . . No Vivienne then"

Vivienne definitely - on my short list if we ever have another girl.

My granny was called Vivian - so it can also be used for females. Much prefer Vivienne though - very feminine and also reminds me of French names (which I love)

If you look to the original French Vivian or Vivien would be masculine and Vivienne feminine. So, assuming you are having a girl, it should be Vivienne.
