Thomas and Catherine are my favourites.

JanMorrow · 17/05/2011 16:51

Thomas and Catherine would be my picks from those, Grace is pretty though.

ClipArt · 17/05/2011 16:56

Thomas or Grace :)

GwendolineMaryLacey · 17/05/2011 16:58

Thomas is nice and inoffensive. Taegan is awful. Catherine is lovely and Grace is dull as ditchwater.

What Gwendoline said.

Thomas and CatherineSmile

Taegen (Tegan) is more for a girl I'd say, and Grace is very popular at the mo!

Plus with Catherine you have the option for Kitty, Kate etc... With Thomas you can have Tommy of Tom, all of which are lovely names for a child or an adultSmile

Me and my husband love the idea of Teagan, it isn't on here tho? We wouldn't shorten Catherine to Katy or Kate or anything like that and Grace and Thomas come from grandparents names. Why does everyone hate Teagan? We think it's nice and unusual and we like the meanings as don't really want a boring name with no meaning.

I have a teenage moaning bad tempered lovely DS4 called Tommy, so I love that name.

The youngest member of our family (my nephews little girl) is called Grace Louise and everybody calls her Gracie Lou Smile

So its Thomas and Grace for me.

flopsy1974 · 18/05/2011 09:59

Thomas and catherine are both lovely names.

Bunbaker · 18/05/2011 10:03

I don't like Taegan at all. I think you will find that people will:

a) assume it is a girl
b) Spell it wrongly
c) Mispronounce it
d) think you can't spell

I like the other names though, but I am a dull traditionalist.

ShazzaRobo · 18/05/2011 11:59

I've already had the girl comment from a friend at uni :-/ we both really like the name though and have got it from a baby name book. everyone spells names wrong, my husband gets his name spelt wrong all the time, and so do i and we have simple names! have taken the spelling from the baby book and think that is how i would spell it anyway. i mispell my friends little boys name all the time to the point of i've started shortening it now for fear of offending her and that is a very popular name, so you can't win really there can you.

Why are you asking opinions then? If you like it, use it. It's your child!

Emelene · 18/05/2011 23:34

I like Thomas and Grace Katherine. :)

My sister's a Grace and I don't think it's dull at all, I think it's pretty and "Gracie" is cute but not overly cutesy for a LO in my opinion.

timetomove · 18/05/2011 23:43

You have spelt it Taegan in your first message and Teagan in your second,

Does not bode well.

Which do you mean?

ShazzaRobo · 19/05/2011 07:58

It was spelt that way on my first message cos the spelling i found and like isn't even on here, that is why it is spelt different between my first and second message. I didn't realise posting on here there would be so many messages, tbh i just put it on here for me more for the meanings i came on here to 'make friends' as i was starting to feel lonely but agree with gwendoline that we like it so we'll use it. i didn't realise so many people would have opinions on this kind of thing :-(
