We want to use four of our shortlist of seven names....
Florence, Astrid, Lucille, Celeste, Talullah, May, Mirabelle (last three to be middle not first names)
Can't decide between the first four as first names and then the others as three middle names.

e.g.

Out of the "first four as first names" choice I'd definitely pick Florence, with Celeste second choice. I don't like Astrid (harsh) or Lucille (too frilly, prefer Lucy).

I like the other names but the next one to go would be Tallulah (I like it but prefer the others).

I'd go for Florence May Celeste Mirabelle.

I like Celeste or Lucille for first names.

Not sure on combinations.. I think Celeste Talullah Florence May sounds the best but then you don't get to use Lucille which I much prefer to Talullah...

I would pick Lucille May (and yes I know you have 4 but this is just what I like)

I dont mind Astrid I wouldnt go for the other first name personally.

OP I haven't actually read your list, just wanted to say it's not anyone else's business when you pick a name! When my DS was born we didn't have a name picked for him. DH and I secretly tried out a few before settling on one when he was a week old. I know a couple of my relatives were getting a bit impatient but noone was going to ruch me into making such an important decision! Take your time and congratulations!

I like Florence May out of your names, the other names are ok but really dislike Talullah. It reminds me of a stripper, sorry.

Florence is very very popular right now, it' very on trend.
May has got to be up there with Rose as one of the most commonly used middle names. IMHO it's just unimaginative.

So that would rule those two out for me.

I like Lucille, Celeste and Astrid best.

YOu can get an extension from the register office if you still haven't decided, or you can register without the name and put it on later.

Don't like Talullah and May seems pretty redundant on the end of all those imho. I think four names is OTT and smacks of indecision and fussiness somewhat unless you really have to have all of the grandmas' names in or something.

Astrid Florence or Florence Astrid would be fab - without the rest which just seems like padding.

Florence is lovely, but becoming very popular in parts, I love Talullah Astrid and Lucille are very girly and I'm not a fan, Celeste is lovely, as is Mirabelle
