I have a Hugh (Hughie) and an Alfred (Fred). What would you suggest for number 3??

I must be on the same wavelength as thesecondcoming's sister. Theodore is up there on my list too although my husband thinks it is in a different venn diagram than Hugh and Alfred! I think he thinks it is too trendy for us, like Sebastian. I have never met another child called Hugh/Hughie.

Hector reminds me of Monarch of the Glen and a bit too scottish (which we are not).

Alice does not feel right although I like it. Katherine, Lucy,David, George, Charlie and Alexander cannot be used because of friends, family used already etc. Felicity is nice, saw one on the Apprentice last night and we discussed it but decided we did not like it enough. I like Florence. BUT Florence and Fred is the Tesco clothes concession. Oh well 8 months to come up with something! Thanks again guys.

Do you think it would make Fred feel left out to have two siblings whose names started with H though?

Spotty I dont think it would be a problem at all as long as you and DH don't also have H names!

For example, I am an S, have an S sister and an M sister. It's never even been brought up before. Really a non issue I promise Smile

Go for Henry! I love it!

emmyloo2 · 18/11/2011 02:29

George? (I am biased because I have one)
Alison for a girl?

You have great taste in names. I love the ones you are proposing!
