I was at school with a girl called Tuesday. She carried it off very well.
I don't like Friday - because I can only think of Robinson Crusoe.
Wednesday is too Adams Family.

But what about:
Monday (does anyone like Mondays though?)
Thursday
Saturday (everyones favourite day)
Sunday

I don't like any of them. Tuesday Weld was a film star, but it's still a strange name IMO. What about 'month' names instead - May, April, Augustus etc

Yes, months are a good idea. I like:

January
February
July
September
October
November
December

Winter

I know a September (girl). Really not sure about days of the week. Like the season names, esp Autumn.

Also an Autumn, a Storm, and two Summers aged 4.

Actually I do like Tuesday and Sunday and think they both sound nice, though tricky to carry off.

i think i would only call them a month, season or weekday if they were born then.

I've also known a Sunday. I think you'd need to celebrate Sundays as a Christian to carry it off.

There's also Juma, Arabic for Friday. On a similar vein, I think you'd need to be a Muslim...

I don't mind day names, just so long as their spelt correctly.

I think I do prefer the months/seasons names though, but agree that a lot of them need to fit when the child was born. Having an April who was born in November would be a bit odd.

I prefer the seasonal names too, Autumn and Summer are beautiful, Winter is okay, I've yet to meet anyone called Spring!

I know an April who missed it by a couple of days

Toozday is hilarious!

I once had a work colleague called Sunny which is nice!

And I worked at a nursery years ago with a little darling girl called Storm.

Not days/weeks/months/seasons but seems related. Don't go calling any children Windy though!

I quite like January when I read about January Jones, and like Loveday although that isn't exactly a day of the week (not in this house anyway!)

I know a Friday although he changed his name by deed poll from whatever-it-was to Friday. My best friend in primary school was called Amy and born in May...I liked the anagram of the name and the month.

yes i like january. but since thats when my birthday is im going to try not to have a child then as its a rubbish time for a birthday!
