Haven't heard his for a long time. What do you think of it? is it due a revival like most other old fashioned names.

I prefer Marie or Maria personally.
But Mary is OK.

Gosh three under one year olds. It is so wierd how suddenly a name is right there. I do really like Mary thought, lovely classic name.

I love the name. It has been tradition in my family for as long as anyone can remember that the eldest girl gets Mary/ Mairi/ Maria or a variant of it. I think it's a beautiful name, much under used. If I am ever fortunate to have a child and that child is a girl her middle names will be Marie-Therese after my mother.
