Hi I'm new here. Expecting the little darling in a month or so. What do you think of Barney or Tarquin? :)

We had a dog called Barney, he was a frisky spaniel. Barney is a frisky spaniel's name.
Tarquin is surely only for people due to inherit castles?

Tarquin is a truly awful name, upper class connotations or not!!! Barney is nice, but would go with BarnabySmile

Was it the Boddingtons advert that featured a Tarquin in his y-fronts?!!!

I love Barney but DH as vetoed it for our baby due in October :( I think it's a cool name.

Tarquin is a comedy name really, sorry.
