DH and I both have children from previous relationships. He has Alice (17) and I have Esther(12) and Martha(8).
We're now expecting a daughter together but can't decide on names!

Here's our shortlist:
Megan
Florence
Jasmine
Lois
Bethany
Olivia
Sophie/a

Sophia or Florence

randomimposter · 27/04/2011 20:12

Florence or Bethan (no y for me)...

But when I saw the thread heading I said to myself Clara.

valiumbandwitch · 27/04/2011 20:16

What about Celia

Alice the other way around like his daughter but more in the style of Esther and Martha I think.

or is that cheesy!?

I mean the same letters as Alice. I didn't explain what I meant properly.

TheOriginalFAB · 27/04/2011 20:18

Florence is the only one who fits imo. Sophia is too posh.

TheOriginalFAB · 27/04/2011 20:18

I got Jane when I read the names and let one come.

flopsy1974 · 27/04/2011 20:20

Florence and Sophia are lovely.

meditrina · 27/04/2011 20:20

Sophia or Bethany.

But from the thread title, the names which popped into mind were Judith, Ruth or Sarah.

LynetteScavo · 27/04/2011 20:20

Before I even read your list, going from thread title alone I thought Florence.

Bearslikehoneyintheirtummy · 27/04/2011 20:23

I am a Martha :)
I like Bethany and Sophie.
I always think of Florence Nightingale when I see Florence! Not keen on the other names.

eatyourveg · 27/04/2011 20:24

Florence definitley
