On my shortlist for DD3, DH loves it and thinks the discussion's over. I love it too... I think.

Do your worst, ladies Smile.

It does make me sing 'you're shaking my confidence daaaiiillllyyyy' at full volume but you should ignore me. People have been singing a certain Beach Boys song at me my entire life. Just judge them roundly and move on.

Lovely name.

Cute name, but I probably wouldn't want to burden my child with the name's meaning (blind). But if you love the name over any others I'd probably still use it.

We haven't got any other nicknames for her as we love it the name the way it is. The original meaning doesn't bother me at all, even though I've also studied Latin. Most people's association is the Patron Saint of Music, if anything, and we chose it for that and also a whole load of other reasons which I shan't bore you with (but general prettiness being the main one).

A bit awkward to say. Celia is nice as a niockname.

BigSooz · 28/04/2011 20:36

Lovely.

tammytoby · 28/04/2011 22:24

The meaning would put me off personally.

I think that's a lovely name. I'd don't think you need to investigate any further, you're sorted :)

Thanks, Cheshire and to everyone else for your comments.

D'you know, I think I am sorted Smile.

Now just got to get the nursery in shape...
