What are your opinions on the name lily please?x

Lovely name, but far, far too overused!

Lily has always been a fairly popular name so I don't think it is particularly dating although it has been very popular for the last five years or so and was the number one name (including some of the more 'interesting' spellings) in 2009.

My dd is a Lilian, and has only had another Lily in her class this year (she is 10) but we've met lots of them. She's always been very happy about that, but I'm glad she has a more unusual full name if she wants her name to be more memorable.

I think it's very pretty and feminine and a name that she would carry through to adulthood equally as well as she would enjoy as a child/teen

Lovely name, who really cares how popular it is! It's beautiful imo :)
