Estella, Estelle or Stella?

Which is best?

Estella or Stella for me I think.

Estella was the girl in Great Expectations brought up to hate men, wasn't she? Still a beautiful name.

Estella is lovely :)

Estelle reminds me of Estelle Morris.

Stella is pretty, but only use if you don't mind lager jokes!

Estella shortened to Stella, best of both worlds me thinks!

Stella every time -it's my daughter's name :) She will be three in a few months and we have had the lager joke comment once.

They are all great, but Stella = beer :) I like Estelle the best.

My niece's name. She is 6 and has never had the larger joke unless by her parents to pre-empt everyone else.

Estella and Estelle seem a little dated, Stella more modern.

How about Estrella? Pronounced as is, or the Spanish way Estreya.

Love all of these and thinking of them for our DC3. But worried about the beer thing, particularly as I used to drink a lot of that brand! Estrella reminds me of Estrella Dam the Spanish beer...
