Love Daisy. Would have been in my top 3 but no DD.

tiredfeet · 18/04/2011 15:11

Daisy elizabeth definitely my favourite, would be on my list for a dd.

SouthGoingZax · 18/04/2011 15:12

Daisy Elizabeth lovely.
Daisy our number one choice for a girl but have 2 boys!

yama · 18/04/2011 15:13

Yes, Daisy Elizabeth is a great name.

SolarPanel · 18/04/2011 15:19

Daisy Elizabeth is lovely :) Also like April.

LyraBelaqua · 18/04/2011 15:22

I love April and its not overly popular which is good.

WalterFlipschicks · 18/04/2011 15:25

I love Daisy Elizabeth, but I also love April Elizabeth, you don't hear it a lot and it's very pretty.
Good luck

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 18/04/2011 15:26

Daisy Elizabeth is yummy.

TheOriginalFAB · 18/04/2011 15:27

What MN thinks is irrelevant. This is your child's name for at least 18 years. Pick what you like!

Daisy is scrumptiously lovely.

smother · 18/04/2011 15:41

'This is your child's name for at least 18 years' Hmm
... and hopefully longer?!!

So, can you imagine a 45 year old Daisy? If so, go for it!!

TheOriginalFAB · 18/04/2011 15:47

No need for the Hmm. When she is 18 she could change it by deed poll.

smother · 18/04/2011 15:50

Yes, I realise, I was just thinking that a name is hopefully for life!

hobbgoblin · 18/04/2011 15:52

I like Daisy Elizabeth but Elizabeth might be more popular for a bit due to Royal zeitgeist! Not sure if that's likely or even a problem...

April is rather nice too, April Daisy would be quirky cool!

mrsSmurf · 18/04/2011 16:30

I think Daisy Elizabeth is lovely Smile

Whatevs · 18/04/2011 16:31

Elizabeth is nicer than Daisy.

How would you pronounce Elena?

April is vile.

Collision · 18/04/2011 16:32

Daisy Elizabeth is fab!

I only know one Daisy and she is a sweetheart!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 18/04/2011 16:35

Daisy Elizabeth is great

YusMilady · 18/04/2011 16:37

I think Daisy and April are both a bit naff, frankly (but only because I know a horrible Daisy in RL, and April reminds me of April Cholly-Sawcutt). Elena, OTOH, is gorgeous - v. sophisticated.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 18/04/2011 16:49

Love April, love Elizabeth, can't stand Daisy, same sort of name as Poppy which I also can't stand.

MaundyBra · 18/04/2011 16:51

Daisy Elizabeth - not my favourite. Daisy is a bit too girly to pass the serious job test. But v pretty.

Elena - fantastic name. Pretty yet strong.
April - quite like this but not as good as Elena.

pumpkinpoppet · 18/04/2011 18:08

Elizabeth is really unusual at the moment, classic and traditional - I like it.

I would go with Elizabeth Daisy.

Daisy makes me think of a carefree women, insouciant even. Not sure if it would communicate on a CV (but that's me)

Elena and Eleanor seem to be getting popular where I live. But if you don't mind that, then go for it. Really lovely IMO

Personally I love April - it was on my list until some male friends (in their early 40s) told me that it's the name of a well known internet porn star. Now I would never have known this if they hadn't said. And maybe I wouldn't have cared if I didn't know them... Just thought I'd mention it

oohlaalaa · 18/04/2011 18:27

Daisy Elizabeth - personally I prefer Elizabeth Daisy, however Daisy is a pretty name, and I know a lovely grown-up Daisy
Elena - I prefer Elinor.
April - I love this name. I also love May and June.

Middle names:

April Katherine
Elinor Faye

otchayaniye · 18/04/2011 18:31

I prefer April

CharlieBoo · 18/04/2011 19:34

Daisy Elizabeth is beautiful... Daisy McAndrew managed to pass the serious job test no????

Perpetuallypregnant · 18/04/2011 19:48

Generally good then, obviously it wont be to everyones taste which is fine but its nice to gather a small consensus when im keeping schtum in rl.

I think she has a name! Woooo... She'll probably come out with a bloody willy now after all this stressing :)
