Be honest! Too boyish? Weird? DH and I having real trouble agreeing on a name and this is one of the very few we both like.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

sorry, not for a girl.

is it the sound you like? what about Connie ( Constance)?

girlafraid · 11/04/2011 16:17

Veronica is nice. Ronni really isn't.

BleachedWhale · 11/04/2011 16:20

After the EE babysnatcher?

It sounds a bit...EE.

CAS77 · 11/04/2011 16:22

Lol! No definitely not after EE's Ronnie!! Don't like Veronica. Actually it was kind of after my Dad and we had settled on Ronnie if it was a boy, but now we are having a girl it scuppered things! I thought choosing a girl's name was going to be so easy - how wrong I was :)

there was a girl ronni in our paper's birth announcements last week

GwendolineMaryLacey · 11/04/2011 16:42

Love Veronica but unfortunately we share a surname with the baby snatcher :( Ronni(e) is nice as a nickname but not on its own.

SolarPanel · 11/04/2011 17:24

Reminds me of the two Ronnies I'm afraid! I don't think of it as a girls' name.

websticks · 11/04/2011 22:13

I know a Ronni she is 15 now, is beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes, she is a girly girl but her name suits her. I really like it.

zozzle · 12/04/2011 14:10

I Like it.

BuntyPenfold · 12/04/2011 14:23

I like Veronique, another name with 'ron' in is Saffron.

SaffaSouthernFairy · 12/04/2011 14:39

I think it's sweet - could be short for Rona (Hebrew= Song)

CorrieQueen · 12/04/2011 19:40

I prefer Robyn which I know isn't the same but has a similar strong feel to it but also very elegant.

furnie · 12/04/2011 19:44

I think Ronni is a really pretty name and if you like it thats all that matters.

Janoschi · 12/04/2011 19:53

Oooh, we NEARLY went with Ronni. Full name Ronia. Still love it... sigh.

jellybeansontoast · 12/04/2011 20:54

I just don't like it for a girl, I think it sounds too hard. Would it just be Ronni or would you have a full name she could use when older? I like the suggestions of Saffron and Rona.

Janoschi · 13/04/2011 21:08

Not sure why it sounds hard... all the sounds are soft and friendly.... (trails off in confusion).
