Oscar!

I always wanted an Oscar & a FelixBlush

Edgar very "old man" imo.

OldSpeckled who said that about your DS? What an awful thing to say!

OldSpeckled: it's funny - I think quite the opposite, because Edgar is the good and loyal brother in King Lear whereas Edmund is the sneaky sly and evil one. So Edgar is synonymous with 'good' for me, the diametric of nasty sneakiness Smile

Oh, I wasn't bothered. Sneaky and sly were both mentioned on here when someone else said they liked it. Evil was a 'lovely' old woman in Tesco.

I've always loved it and have never for a moment regretted choosing it. I do get, "but it's an old mans name" quite often, but I don't care. He will be an old man one day! It's a family name too.
