Name for a baby girl?

Me and my husband are due our second baby girl this May!
At the moment we are considering
Sofia
Ava
Rosa
Emme (pronounced like Em-may)
Aoife (pronounced like Ee-fah)
Ruby
Kitty

Only two months to go and we're still undecided! Any thoughts & alternative name ideas would be appreciated :)

Our last name is Vega-Sol which is already quite a mouthful, so we're trying to avoid any names which are very long!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Not Ava. Ava Vega?! I think any name ending in 'a' has got to be more than 2 syllabals for it to work with your sirname. eg Roseanna Vega-Sol rolls of the tongue nicely. Kitty is a great name too, or Emily?

Sofia - may have spelling issues as I think Sophia is more common
Ava - like, but may be one of those names that is very popular now (like Evie)
Rosa - Like
Emme - will be confused with Emma
Aoife - hard to spell, do you have Irish connections?
Ruby - I think it would suit an outgoing child best, might be quite popular now
Kitty - I think this should be short for something, Katherine?

I think Kitty is a beautiful name and cute, but shorten it from Catherine. Goes well with your surname. Agree with lockets, a splendid name.

Agree about Ava not being good with your surname.

Think Sofia is the best. Kitty is nice, but it seems v popular suddenly and it will date. I know a 6 year old Sofia and she has no probs with spelling so far.

I think they're all pretty names but don't really flow with your surname, with the possible exception of Kitty and Ruby.

I agree with breatheslowly too - Katherine is a lovely classic, sophisticated name that fits well with your surname and shortens nicely to Kitty.

Kitty

really like Emme but think Kitty goes better with your surname.

Kitty is Gorgeous!

I think Ruby sounds best with your surname
