what about sabria / sabriya? that meaning is nice (patient) and i think its a lovely name, not too common, but easy for people to pronounce etc
i wanted that for a girl but i am having a boy
and congrats on your dd!

chibi · 29/03/2011 14:11

zainab

exexpat · 29/03/2011 14:22

How about Scheherezade? I know one (Iranian origin, but I think it's also an arabic name) - she gets called Shari for short.

Or Farah is nice.

oftenpurple · 29/03/2011 14:39

I love Salma, which means safe. Also quite keen on Sumaiya although I don't believe things ended well for the 'original' Sumaiya. It's literal translation is woman who listens well and I like how it sounds.

Congratulations, whatever you decide.
