I like aurelia

monkeymiss · 31/03/2011 22:28

Well, Anastasia is my preferred first name from your list, but I wouldn't put it with Annabelle (or Annabel?) as a middle name due to the repetition of the "Ana" sound.

The Arabella and Ophelia options sound best to me. Ophelia Amelie Rose would be my top choice.

HTH.

Rosalind, Susannah

Arabella Genevieve May goes together best. Congratulations!

libelulle · 02/04/2011 14:47

Aurelia is lovely! Congratulations

As an aside, I'm glad you didn't choose Ophelia:) It's a lovely name but there is v. unpleasant woman in park near me who says awful things to her toddler daughter between gritted teeth in sing-songy cut-glass voice 'oh ophelia you disgusting filthy child you've got your dress all dirty darling.' Always makes me shudder and has completely ruined the name for me:(

Congratulations! Lovely name Smile.

I'm not sure if I should say this, but the conventional spelling is 'Genevieve' (you have the 'ie' the other way round). Obviously it's totally up to you, but thought it worth noting. Ignore me if it's not relevant.

Hope you're having a lovely time with her!

monkeymiss · 02/04/2011 15:11

Love your choice :)

ValiumSoltera · 04/04/2011 08:57

Some of those combos are way too much prettiness OP!

Anastasia Annabel for example. That sounds silly if you don't mind me saying so.

Anastasia Beth
Anastasia Ruth
Ansastasia Faith

I think you need one solid or short or less pretty name to anchor all the prettiness or it might float away, and I say that even though my dd's name has been mentioned on this thread.

I think prettiness is beginning to sound a bit dated now. dykwim? I still like names to sound attractive too though. I am not saying pick an ugly harsh name!
