OH read an entire baby name book last night and this is what he came up with. Thing is, I quite like it

It's too silly, right?

I hate Jove, but actually really like Jupiter!

I had a little boy called Jovan at my Nursery.

Jove sounds unfinished. 'Jehovah' and 'Jehosephat' automatically spring to mind. I wouldn't say it's silly as such, but I don't like it.

I do like the name Job, but the spelling is a major turn off, for the reasons mentioned. (Also there are quite a few people out there unfamiliar with the Bible and would therefore pr it wrong.)

Jovan's quite nice, although it looks Asian to me (which is fine, if you're Asian).

Jupiter's cool, but I think that's all it's got going for it. Zeus is much better (my friend was considering it for a mn and I've said that if she calls her son Zeus, I'll call my daughter Hera :P She didn't answer me though :P).

Jovan is also a Slav name (Serbian for "John").
