Hi everyone.
Im expecting a baby girl in July. So far the names we have are:

Sienna Rose

Leila Rose

Sophia Faye

Which do you prefer? Any other ideas for middle names would be great :)

I like both Sienna and Leila from your list.

Favourite would be Leila.

5DollarShake · 15/03/2011 13:18

Leila for me - definitely prefer that spelling, too.

cumbria81 · 15/03/2011 13:49

Sienna is plain awful. I like Leila the best.

PepsiPopcorn · 15/03/2011 14:08
  1. Sophia
  2. Sienna
  3. Leila
Firawla · 15/03/2011 18:29

all are nice actually but best is leila then 2nd sophia

exoticfruits · 15/03/2011 18:34

Sophia Rose

mumtobee · 15/03/2011 18:35

I knew a Leila once - promounced 'Leela' - but it was constantly being pronounced 'Lila' or 'Laila'.

I love Sophia - on my own shortlist!!

lucilastic · 15/03/2011 20:02

I don't like any of them TBH.

At a push I'd say Sophia.
Sienna is hideous.

babyapplejack · 15/03/2011 20:08

I like Sophia, lovely name. Prefer it with Rose rather than Faye, partly because every time she said her middle name, she'd have to say "Faye with an e on the end" and it would probably still end up being spelt incorrectly. Also, Sophia Faye has lots of f sounds in it. Sophia Rose sounds better IMO.

Sienna - don't like.

Leila - like the name but there are a lot of variant spellings and it would annoy me personally to keep having to correct it.

MrsSnow · 15/03/2011 20:33

Sienna - no

Leila - lovely

Sophia Rose for the reasons babyapplejack said.

Underachieving · 15/03/2011 20:59

Sophia Faye

DaydreamDollyisshrinking · 15/03/2011 21:01

Congratulations on your little girl!

I like Sophia and Leila (incidentally as soon as I read this name I pronounce it Ley-La), and agree Sophia Rose sounds better than Sophia Faye.

TysonNobdie86 · 15/03/2011 21:04

I like Sophia Rose tbh

Edmundo · 15/03/2011 21:08

Not keen on any but really dislike Sienna so would go for either of the other two.

sazlou123 · 16/03/2011 09:17

hi again!
thanks for all your views really helpful. I originally liked Sienna Rose best but it seems this isnt very popular ha ha!
Starting to warm to Sophia Rose/Leila Rose now though :)

I like Sophia best. I know a Leila but many people spell it Layla so she is always having to correct people. I don't know whether that would bother you?

I think Sophia Rose is beautiful! :)
I quite like Sophia Juliette or Sophia Grace for alternative middle names...

Strix · 16/03/2011 19:52

Sophia (but Faye doesn't really go with it).

sazlou123 · 18/03/2011 13:01

I have a sophia - 18mo... beautiful name from the greek meaning wisdom.
though am now concerned to hear that abbey clancy has named her dd sophia. will this start a trend of little scouse sophia's?!

sazlou123 · 18/03/2011 13:16

I see what you mean its gonna be a popular name this year because of that ha ha. Its just really pretty :)

My dd is Leila. I love the name, but just a word of warning, I do find many people spell it either Laila or Layla, if they don't know her. I think it is getting more popular as a girls name.
