What do you think of the name Hannah Lee?

Its not hyphenated so she'll be known as Hannah.

I like Hannah. I know two. One is about 18 and the other is in her 30's and they are both lovely so this might be why I like the name! I have yet to meet a baby Hannah. I am not that keen on Lee as a middle name. I think it might be because I associate it with a boys name or a surname. Do you have any other middle names on your list?

icapturethecastle · 14/03/2011 22:59

I have Lee as a middle name - it has served me well but I always think go a little crazy with the middle name and have done so with my DCs.

slartybartfast · 14/03/2011 23:01

nothign wrong wit hannah

MajorBumsore · 14/03/2011 23:03

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff,
And brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff.

breatheslowly · 14/03/2011 23:07

I like Hannah. Lee spelt that way makes me thing of a boys name. There are feminine spellings, but I don't really like it anyway.

bluerodeo · 14/03/2011 23:10

Hannah is gorgeous name, not so keen on Lee. Really like icapturethecastle's suggestion on middle names!

Amber76 · 14/03/2011 23:16

We had decided on Hannah Mae but then he changed his mind. And also Mae seems to be a very common second name at the moment.
I like Hannah Rose but, again, he isn't keen on it.
Picked Lee because of its simplicity and he liked the way it sounds like Harper Lee (author).

Any suggestions? I'd like something short that has a nice ring to it.

(I really like Hannah - I had a dream that I had a daughter with this name. It feels right so its unlikely I'll change this).

Thanks for all the suggestions.
I had considered Hannah Faye but prefer Hannah Lee.

I know that the feminine spelling is Leigh but prefer the simplicity of Lee.

No other suggestion really jumps out at me - I want the middle name to be short and run into the surname nicely.

DS used to have swimming lessons with a little girl called Rae and I always thought it was sweet. Makes me think of a Ray of Sunshine.

Hannah's my favourite simple name, and is on my own list, but I've got to say, I really don't like Lee.
It's okay on a boy, but on a girl, even as Leigh, it's just... not nice. It just seems a bit of a cop out really.
You seem to really like it though, and I suppose that's all that matters. It's only a middle name, and Hannah's beautiful.

How about Hannah Liane/Leanne?
