What do you think of Arturo?

I probably sound mad as i arnt even pregnant yet, but ive heard the name Arturo and fell in love with it, do you think its a good name? we love old unusual names.

out surname begins with a B so alban wouldn't go well, i love that style of name though

Famous for the fantastic boxer Arturo Gatti.

I love it and think I read that it comes from Arthur meaning Strong. Also for an italian name the spelling is how it sounds.

Its what we named our cat so a little biased; He is Arturo Catti Smile

No I didnt it was just as he paws everything when on his back legs and we are both big boxing fans and didnt want a Calzage! LOL! I am even more impressed now Smile

Read 'Geek Love' before deciding. It's a very common book for 'A' Level and 1st year uni. Some people will assume you are referencing the book...which would be a very weird thing to do.

Er honestyle? It's a vampire name, would make me think the parents should be avoided and the boy should be nicknamed as soon as possible.

Honestly? It's a bit Trying Too Hard. It makes me think of someone with artistic leanings changing their name to be less conventional.

Prefer the Polish Artur.

I would think Toscanini and not boxer. I would also think it was a bit odd if you weren't Italian.

Not sure how it would work, but immediately, I like it.
Still much prefer Arthur though.
