Only Gabriel, maybe Tristan at a push.

The others are awful.

Wade - sounds like you're saying Wayne with a cold.

babybumpx · 10/03/2011 21:19

haha Thank you....does anyone have any suggestions??

Underachieving · 10/03/2011 21:24

Maddox - Too Hollywood
Wade - Too generally American
Bailey - I know a lot of pets called this.
Tristan - Nice
Gabriel - Nice
Hunter - Bit macho, what if he turns out to be a poetic soul in touch with his feminine side? Nothing wrong with either kind of person of course, but might it be best to avoid heavily typecast names?

banjomanjo · 10/03/2011 21:27

I like Hunter out of your list. Maddox is too hollywood, I agree. Gabriel is awful, sorry x

babybumpx · 10/03/2011 21:31

I like those names lol I see what your saying but I dont like the over used, common names.

Looking for something different, that when you think of that name you can imagine a strong, brave, determined man, yet with kindness in his eyes. haha

Im only found out today, coming to terms with having a boy as already have a DS and DSS, this is doing well at distracting me :)

Maddox - Brangelina
Wade - Feels a bit unfinished, more like a nickname. Then again, it depends what your surname is.
Bailey - I now associate this with being a girls' name!
Tristan - Reminds me of Stardust: really lovely.
Gabriel - Lovely.
Hunter - Gladiators.

BelligerentGhoul · 10/03/2011 22:02

Love Tristan and Gabriel.

Wade is beyond terrible, imho.

Cheeruploveitmightneverhappen · 10/03/2011 22:08

So you're looking for a romantic, manly name eh?

Hmmmm...

Heath

Byron

Marcus

Xander

Misfitless · 10/03/2011 22:54

Like Gabriel don't like any of the others.

cece · 10/03/2011 23:27

Not keen from any on your list. How about Wesley? I always imagine Wes to be a hunky manly sort of chap.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/03/2011 23:29

Tristan and Gabriel are fine names. The others are not.

Tristan or Gabriel. Do like Marcus from cheerup's list.

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/03/2011 00:43

Tristan and Gabriel. The others are awful. Wade and Hunter especially.

kat2504 · 11/03/2011 00:52

I also only like Gabriel. In theory I like Tristan as I like the Tristan and Isolde story. However there is a world of difference between a medieval story and a real life baby!

DesertOrchid · 11/03/2011 09:13

Tristan and Gabriel. The others all sound terribly American.
