Middle names! Can't think of anything...

I have quite a few ideas for first names, but can't even begin to think of a middle name. We don't know the sex of our baby either, which doesn't help!
I am keen to avoid a 'filler' middle name - mine is Jane - I was born in the 80s and it seemed every second girl at my school had the middle name Jane, Elizabeth or Louise.
Today the equivalent seems to be Grace, Rose or May/Mae. I love those names and my grandmothers were Rose and May, but as a child I always wished my mum had picked something a bit less popular, and don't want to do the same just because it is easier for me.
BUT have no idea what else to choose.
All the girls first names I have chosen end in an 'a' sound - so don't want that for the middle names.
And have NO ideas for boys!!
Any suggestions welcome.

I was just thinking today that names like Louise, Sarah, Rachel, Claire - all my schoolmates basically - are really unusual now anyway.

And I could pick on of these and please half my friends in one go! If baby is a girl may pick both her godmothers and give her two middle names so she'll feel extra special.

Will have to have another think about boys names, maybe a classic like John.

it's not the law that you have to give a middle name you know! If you can't think of one then don't bother.

What about your favourite flower or book character or a place which is very special to you and your DH.

Or you could go along the relatives route.

DD has favourite book character as her mn. DS has one of DH's sporting heroes Blush as his mn.

Can I add Ann to the filler middle names of the 70's ?
