We're so undecided on names for baby no3 I thought we could use some help!!

We currently have a 2nd in line to the throne and a little white and yellow garden flower!

So, we've narrowed it down to.........

Girls
Florence Poppy (dd is desperate for a Poppy!)
Harriet Rose
Iris Elizabeth

Boys
Edward Peter
Henry Peter
My Dad's called Peter so that's a cert

Don't like Iris at all and Iris Elizabeth sounds so snooty and sedate. Two common flower names is not great - but I agree that maybe a less common flower, such as Zinnia or Alyssa or Aster, or Marguerite, Zahara or Fleur might be good.

I think Florence Poppy is cure - as is Harriet Rose. Boys - only really like Peter there.

Henry's nice too though. Harriet and Florence are a bit meh.

Plus with Harriet you're going to have a William and Harry aren't you...

My fave was Iris, but am getting unsure as it's short and we have a short surname so think it might sound cold, hence Elizabeth as a long middle name.
Plus the 2 flowers is off putting

Of course we'd have a William and Harry with Harriet, why didn't I think of that! Durrrrr!

I like tons and tons of girls names (Martha, Alice, Beatrice) but dh really does not and ideally I would like him to agree!!

But then, Harriet might become known as Harry.

I like Peter as a first name too.
