Heavenly Hirani Tiger Lily

Is it just me that thinks this is a really thoughtful name? I mean, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use it. But I like the idea of having a range of names to choose from - a girly one, a tomboyish one, a hippy one, a weirdly unusual one etc.

Anyone else gone for a mix of different types of names?

I mean

which name does she go by? (and how old is she by now?)

I think posting a friend's very individual full name can be googled v easily.

I think "back then" this name sounded fucking ridiculous - just like those of her sisters.

Roll on to 2011 and it barely registers a blip on one's radar - so accustomed are we to the ridiculous.

She's usually called Tiger I believe

She'd be in her early teens now I think

But she could go under the radar if she wanted by calling herself Lily, couldn't she?

DS has a weird name (considerably less weird now because of what Alpine says) and 2 not weird ones for this reason.

She is 14.

Don't suppose she'd be tempted to go under the radar with her half-sisters' names to compete with. Fifi, Peaches and Pixie wasn't it?

Heavenly Hirani has such a nice sound to it. But yeah, the name is ridiculous.

However, I do think it's good to have a range of names.

I played with my name as a teenager but as it is actually the most boring name in the world I didn't get very far.

Hirani was after a friend of Michael Hutchence's family.

i dont know what she is known as now but a few years ago i use to look after someone who went to her school and she was known as Tiger or Tiger lilly (cant remember about the lilly Part)

I think it's a beautiful name. I wish I had thought of it.

Melzeka - sorry but min is the most boring name in the world :) How I woud have loved some options but not even a middle name to chose from!

I thought that Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily was better than the other choices made. Since she was formally adopted by Bob Geldof her name has been officially changed to Tiger Hutchence-Geldof.

Peaches has quite a few names, so everyone who thinks that they can give their children more 'normal' middle names to choose from can think on ;) her names have Honeyblossom, Michelle, Angel & Vanessa in the mix!

The one that made me laugh was Pixie. Her name is actually Little Pixie Geldof. Apparently they got the name from a celebrity couple spoofed in 'Private Eye' and used it themselves...eeejits
