Oh what lovley names!! It's hard to say they are all nice. If I had to choose they would be put in this order
Florence Sophia
Beatrice Kate
Harriet Elisabeth

Like I said all gorgeous and you can't really go wrong with any of them.

randomimposter · 28/02/2011 15:28

exactly what Flopsy said

agora1 · 28/02/2011 15:52

I prefer Harriet Elisabeth.

growing3rdbump · 28/02/2011 16:29

All lovely. I know a baby Beatrice Sofia, which is gorgeous too.

montylady · 28/02/2011 17:05

I vote Beatrice Elisabeth :) (If I'm allowed to mix the names up Blush)

UrsulaBuffay · 28/02/2011 17:29

Beatrice Kate for me. Stunning!

Kaekae · 28/02/2011 17:39

I like them all, Florence and Harriet being my fav. I would spell Elisabeth EliZabeth though.

FessaEst · 28/02/2011 17:42

I know an Elizabeth Sophia!

I love Harriet and have a Kate, love Beatrice too. I know a lot of baby Florence's though - it is a bit "now" round here, so that would put me off. They are all lovely though!

I must admit i dont really understand this thing about choosing first and middle names together, as middle names dont get used every day. Hence, I would concentrate on choosing your preferred first name. Once you have done that then work out which middle name goes best (taking surname into account). So if you like Florence best, why could Kate or Elizabeth not work as a middle name?

For what it is worth, I like all your first names and all your middle names, but dont think the way you have combined them are necessariily the best For example, the "s" sound at the end of Florence (ce) runs into the "S" at the start of Sophia - if you like Florence best I think Florence Elizabeth or Florence Kate would be better. If you like Harriet best, I think Harriet Kate is better than Harriet Elizabeth (too many syllables for me)

Thanks for your feedback so far. It is nice to see all the names have had such a positive response.

Beatrice Elisabeth would be my choice!

montylady · 28/02/2011 17:51

Time - I can see where you are coming from and I think you are right about focusing on the first name. When I listed the middle names, I wasn't strictly putting each of the first and middle names together,it was just nice to do it to get a possible feel for the name. As for using middle names, I do tend to shout both my sons first and middle names when he is in bother Grin

montylady, you must keep having babies until you can use all of them!

They are all gorgeous! (but I think I might like Beatrice Elizabeth best too!)

FellatioNelson · 28/02/2011 18:07

I would have Elizabeth Florence but that's no help is it? Confused

Highlandgirl · 28/02/2011 19:23

Ohhhhhhhh what lovely names...!!!

I like them all..no help am I? Grin

Florence Sophia
Beatrice Kate
Harriet Elisabeth

Think Beatrice Kate takes it, but not by much.

JojoMags · 28/02/2011 21:05

Wow. What gorgeous names! Florence Sophia is my least favourite - very 'now', but hard pushed to choose between the other two. They're lovely!

BelligerentGhoul · 28/02/2011 21:10

Harriet Elisabeth gets my vote - lovely. Prefer 'Elizabeth' spelling though.

Don't like Sophia.

kitkat1000 · 28/02/2011 21:18

Beatrice for me, its gorgeous - but i'm not into middle names generally at all - noone every uses them so whats the point?! Neither of mine have them - hard enough finding one nice name!

Hulababy · 28/02/2011 21:19

Florence Sophia - beautiful name

montylady · 01/03/2011 13:50

Thankyou so much for all your suggestions. We still can't decide but feel that they are all good contenders. I love all 3 of them as well as Annabel and Felicity that I listed on the other thread. I feel spoilt for choice Grin

They're all lovely, wait til you see what the baby looks like then pick one. FWIW I like Beatrice Kate best but think Florence Sophia is the most original Smile

exoticfruits · 01/03/2011 16:29

I like them all, Harriet Elisabeth first choice and Beatrice Kate last.

Hatterbox · 01/03/2011 16:34

Harriet Elisabeth for me.

Nice to see someone wanting to use the Elisabeth spelling, which is the original spelling.
