I was toying with Rock, just because I love the idea of a litte Rocky. Can't stand boxing though... do you think the association would be a problem at school?

For the OP, Heath would fit so well with Willow. And Rowan and Robin are also on my list. All lovely.

A friend who works at a bird sanctuary has named his kid Kestrel, Kes for short.

Summerbird73 · 27/02/2011 21:27

my friend has a little boy called Rohan - pronounced the same as Rowan but a more contemporary spelling

yama · 27/02/2011 21:35

I know of a Rourke (I think that's the spelling) and Roan. Like them both.

BelligerentGhoul · 27/02/2011 21:55

I'm quite fond of Peregrine as I used to have a rat called it. I'm afraid that I don't like lots of the names being suggested on here though - not that my opinion matters a jot of course! :)

Friends of mine have a little boy called Brook, which might be an alternative to River.

"why do his dad and sister get to have an opinion anyway dammit?" well, they don't do they. It's your baby and the name is upto you and your DP only. If anyone asks just tell them you've both settled on a name and its Adolf and no, you won't be talked out of it. Grin When DS arrives and you give it a lovely name they will be thrilled.
