Hello, We have 6 children already with a 7th on the way in April and would like your opinions on the names below our current children are called:

Daniel, Kieran, Owen, Brian, Sam and our little girl Lilia and are stuck for a boys name for our new arrival. The shortlist we have is:

Ethan

Kaden

Josef

Ben

Oliver

Kyle

Your help would be much appreciated.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oliver and Ben are my favourites.

Why Josef with an 'f'? If it is linked to your cultural heritage, fine. Otherwise it looks 'try hard' and Joseph is better.

I like Ben and Joseph. Not keen on Kaden or Kyle. Every other baby around here is called Ethan, not sure if that would bother you or not.

I dont really like it the original way and prefer if with the F at the end, of course the only problem is will people spell it the normal way which i guess they will.

Ethan - OK

Kaden - not keen

Josef - like

Ben - like but only as nickname

Oliver - like

Kyle - OK if you have connection with place such as Kyle of Lochalsh!

AnnOnimous · 20/02/2011 11:28

Kaden - totally hate it, sorry, slightly improved by Caiden spelling.

Josef - would personally use the ph spelling

Ben - nice, but ordinary

Oliver - nice

Kyle - okay, but slightly chavvy
