Boy - Harper
Girl - Frieda

Those are my favorites on your list.

MelinaM · 18/02/2011 14:41

Tom and Elodie for me. x

Sympatico · 18/02/2011 14:43

Would Alvie (never heard of it) be constantly mistaken for Alfie?

Love Thomas (Tom) and Elodie

OliveMalay · 18/02/2011 16:06

I like Tom, Fred, Elodie, Elsie and Marnie (with an e).

BelligerentGhoul · 18/02/2011 16:06

Tom and Frieda

Don't like Alvie, Harper or Hal at all.

Like Frederick but not Fred.

agora1 · 19/02/2011 17:11

Tom and Elsie

Harper and Elsie

I LOVE Elsie! Almost wish I could have another daughter just to use the name. Hehe. Not doing it though.

Hello all
Thank you.
Any thoughts on Alvie for a girl - just found out it can be either.
Thanks loads x

Hal and Alvine or Elodie for me!

Alvie is interesting (in a good way) although it does sound a little bit like Algae.

I used to teach a gorgeous little boy called Albie (short for Albert but he was always Albie) what do you think of that as alternative?

cowboylover · 21/02/2011 18:29

I thought it was a girls name on 1st read so I would defo say so!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 21/02/2011 18:39

Fred and Marnie for me.

captainbarnacle · 21/02/2011 18:40

Hallam and Marnie :)

redclover · 21/02/2011 21:06

Thanks again.

I really like Albie

Hadn't considered Hal as in Hallam - more as short for Henry (as in Shakespeare) or Harold. Any thoughts on the use of names like Hal & Finn used in their short version only v's Harold & Finnbar?

It's good to get positive feedback on Marnie as a couple of friends turned their noses up.

I do love Alvie still - especially for a girl, it means "elf or magical being, friend". Someone suggested Elvie as an alternative??
