I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my second child and still Ive yet to choose a name I think I need some help :/
I already have a 3yr old boy called Marley. My partner and I have chosen Reuben if this one is a boy but the sonographer thinks I might be carrying a girl but can't confirm anything as legs have been crossed at three scans lol.

So the names I have so far are

Lauryn / Lauren
Heidi
Amalie / Amelle
Emelia / Emilia
Amelia

Nothing really stands out though I'm stuck open to suggestions..

My daughter (2) is Amelie Faith and everyone comments on her pretty name. So I am biased and love any derivative of this name.x

pilates · 18/02/2011 09:58

I like them all, but Emelia is my favourite.

flopsy1974 · 18/02/2011 11:59

Emilia gets my vote.
Lovely name.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 18/02/2011 18:42

From your list Lauren is by far my favourite. It always makes me think of Lauren Bacall.

HSMM · 18/02/2011 19:06

Don't worry, we didn't have a name when DD was born!

megglevache · 18/02/2011 19:07

Reuben is stunning, if you like that what about Ruby for a girl.

I know a lady who has a three year old Marley and his sister Mable, isnt that lovely.

MelinaM · 18/02/2011 19:17

Love Reuben

I think Amelie, Amelia and Emilia sound too much like Marley, i;d go for something not so similarSmile x

369thegoosedrankwine · 18/02/2011 19:52

I love Reuben, but then I am biased as it is my DS2's name.

As we seem to think along the same lines, my girls names were: Amelie and Gabrielle.

OliveMalay · 18/02/2011 20:13

I like Lauren, Amelia and Emilia.

Hi wasn't being ignorant only just managed to get back into my account "Baby Brain" lol.. Thank you for all your suggestions some of them are really nice right up my street.. I had a GIRL on 16th April.. she was Lauren up until the last minute but she didn't come out looking like a Lauren. So on the spot name change it was and we called her Esme she weighed 7lb 2oz and it was such an easy labour/birth she is absolutely beautiful.. i already miss my bump so maybe those names won't go to waste Wink

Congratulations and on your choice of name too.

sparkle1977 · 13/05/2011 11:59

I would go with Heidi or Amelia.

MelinaM · 13/05/2011 13:37

Amelia and Emilia are two different names: Ah-me-lee-ah and E-mil-i-ah. Emelia looks like someone couldn't spell Amelia, but that's just meGrin

Amelie is a beautiful french name and also the correct spellingSmile Amalia is awful, and incorrect.

Lauren is pretty too, but I'd go with Amelie it's so beautifulSmile

AKissIsNotAContract · 13/05/2011 13:39

Esme is lovely, congratulations.

Lonnie · 13/05/2011 17:57

Esme is perfect and out of all of the names you spoke of by far the best.. Goes beautifully with Marley too

st3phani3 · 18/04/2012 12:47
