Four names - honest oppinions please

What would your oppinions/reactions be if you met a family of four children with these names:

Noah
Zach
Chloe
Matilda

Will they all age well? What would your first impressions be? Do they all fit well together. I would like you all to be brutally honest, no offense will be taken!!
Thanks!! X

Love them mainly. Your boys names are fab. Not so keen on Matilda but I like Tilly although I know 2 x Matildas and 1 X Tilly born in the last 12 months.

CPtart · 16/02/2011 21:20

Like Zach(ary) and Chloe.
Matila and Noah are awful, sorry.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 16/02/2011 21:21

Don't like Noah or Zach. Like Matilda and Chloe.

DrNortherner · 16/02/2011 21:22

Love them all apart from Chloe.

roadtrain · 16/02/2011 21:23

Like Chloe.

Matilda OK.

Not keen on the boys names.

Tillyscoutsmum · 16/02/2011 21:23

Really like Noah, Zach and Matilda. Not so keen on Chloe. Its a bit 90's to me

Guacamole · 16/02/2011 21:24

I think Zach is the only one that doesn't sit quite right because it's the only one that has been shortened, even my iPhone autocorrects it to Zachary. Do you not like Zachary?

brightcopperkettles · 16/02/2011 22:29

I like Noah, Chloe and Zachary together, but to my ears Matilda doesn't fit quite as well (although a lovely name).

TransatlanticCityGirl · 16/02/2011 22:51

Well I would never form a first impression based on someone's name...but as for preferences...

I love the name Zach... would have chosen it myself but my brother is called that.

I like Noah and Chloe - very cute names

As for Matilda, it's not a name I would have chosen myself, but it's not at all awful. But I would probably quite like her nn.

I think the names all sound fine together. But I also don't believe siblings names have to match each other in much the same way I don't expect a married couple's names to match each other. They are individuals and should be treated as such.

I actually like all four as a group - not sure I would necessarily pick each one individually, but on reading them they sounded nice and harmonious as a family group, if that makes sense.

Also very curious about the trialling of four names!

Bumperlicious · 16/02/2011 23:18

Like all except Chloe. They do all go together.

muminthemiddle · 16/02/2011 23:30

I think Chloe is the odd one out, if any. having said that I probably like Chloe the best!

jellybeans · 16/02/2011 23:41

I really like all of them and they go well together.

OliveMalay · 17/02/2011 00:24

I think Matilda is the odd one out. The other names are plainer (and I prefer them).

Noah
Zach
Chloe
Matilda

Violethill · 17/02/2011 06:49

Don't think zach goes, as it's the only one thats an abbreviation rather than a full name.

Chloe - fine, not keen on Noah, and Matilda is ok, but wouldn't she end up being called Tillie, along with half the other girls in the neighbourhood?!

pilates · 17/02/2011 09:44

Like the girls names but not the boys.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 17/02/2011 09:45

I don't like any of them.

justmilkpleasenosugar · 17/02/2011 10:00

IMO...Noah and Matilda work well together as do Zach and Chloe..but a 4 no.

I do like all off the names apart from Chloe.
