Can't sleep as I have name issues.

We're having a baby girl in two weeks and we have it down to three names.

Anna, Daisy or Tabitha (Tabby)

WHICH IS BEST?

Tabitha, love it

SteviesWifeIsBack · 10/02/2011 20:52

Anna

mathanxiety · 10/02/2011 20:52

Anna is lovely, with Tabitha second fav.

Daisy isn't in the same league imo.

PaisleyLeaf · 10/02/2011 20:53

Anna

They may want to be taken seriously and not want to be forever cutesy.
Anna's a classic name.

dollydimples · 10/02/2011 20:57

Tabitha

Maud2011 · 10/02/2011 21:22

Tabitha - hands down.

Hello BikeRunSki, what do you call your acquaintance Daisy, if not by her name? Just interested and also curious to know what would you call her if you needed to attract her attention in a life or death situation :)

BikeRunSki · 10/02/2011 21:26

She is really only an aquaintance and I tend just to say vague "Hi...." in passing. I would of course call her by her real name if I had to, but I might have let slip the odd "eeer, er DD's Mum". I don't think I have ever been in a 1-1 conversation with her.

COCKadoodledooo · 10/02/2011 21:31

I wanted Daisy. Dh vetoed it on the grounds that it wouldn't suit our boys Wink

Marguerite is pretty classical, and is the botanical name for oxeye daisy, just to add to your list..

BelligerentGhoul · 10/02/2011 21:33

Daisy - but Anna is nice too. Don't like Tabitha.

hester · 10/02/2011 21:43

Anna

QuestionNumber · 10/02/2011 22:18

Anna and Daisy are both lovely.

Dislike Tabitha (sorry but agree with others it's a cat's name).

Greenwing · 10/02/2011 22:31

Anna
Anna definitely

Christmasbelle · 10/02/2011 23:37

I have got an Annabel. So people find her name a little frilly but I love it. However personally, I find Anna on it's own a little plain (but that is just me Smile much prefer Annie as a nn.

mathanxiety · 11/02/2011 00:59

Anastasia is lovely too Wink

DandyDan · 11/02/2011 15:14

Tabitha with Tabby as n-n - wonderful.

Anna - classic and classy (Tabitha Anne would work as a combination)

Daisy - pretty but over-used

growing3rdbump · 11/02/2011 17:16

Anna

Lovethesea · 11/02/2011 21:43

Anna

Poppyella · 11/02/2011 22:30

Daisy - I love it!

TransatlanticCityGirl · 11/02/2011 22:37

All are lovely but I would vote for Tabitha. Especially if it's a traditional sounding surname, Anna might be a bit too over used.

CarrieABag · 11/02/2011 22:39

Anna

Ruthie32 · 11/02/2011 22:40

My sister's called Anna and I think it's lovely
I'd be worried that Tabitha would be called Tabby and I'm not a fan of Daisy
