Rory or Ewan?

Which do you prefer? I'm thinking Rory Douglas or Ewan James.

Love them both but can't decide which to go with. Also, what do you think of this spelling of Ewan? Would you prefer Euan? (We wouldn't want to use Ruaridh instead of Rory purely because we live in England and OH has an overtly Scottish name that he always has to spell and he doesn't want our son to have to do the same)

Thanks!

I agree that Douglas is great and Dougie would be so cool...

Duhart, you made me giggle with imagining what each name would grow up to be. Daddy is a solicitor and it'd be cool if baby was a cross between a rockstar and a lawyer!

I love the names Douglas and James (Dougie and Jamie) but they are family names and I'd rather keep them as middle names.

We're steering towards Rory Douglas- thanks for all your input! I think this name will work especially well if they have Daddy's hair colour as Rory means "Red King"

I have a Iwan James, so great combination, but we are in Wales so this spelling makes sense. In my experience, most people will guess at the Ewan spelling - personally I blame Ewan McGregor for this - but either way, I naturally think it is a fabulous combination of names! I like Rory too and would have considered it, only I can't say my R's very well (which is unfortunate given my own real name!)
