Asa.

Love this name and not many of them about. What do you think of it?

I think it's a very lovely name!

we have one, and no-one has ever called him Ars-a (yet)

and yes. he is ridiculously naughty, though don't let that put you off Wink

I know an Asa, I like it

MooMooFarm · 16/01/2011 21:08

Sorry don't really like it. I'm probably swayed by memories of a boy at school with the name who used to run away from school all the time and was a complete PITA.

acer - a diff spelling

and a tree

mathanxiety · 16/01/2011 22:16

Love it. It's a biblical male name (OT).

Please tell me that you didnt mis-read my post as offering an alternative spelling. No chance. I was simply offering a better guide to the way it is pronounced.

Beamur · 16/01/2011 22:52

I like it.
It's often seen as a traditional northern name - quite a few of them in Yorkshire.

natto · 16/01/2011 23:51

Love it.

I see it as a northern name too. I think it has a nice Industrial Revolution vibe to it.
