Is due early may :)

I keep coming back to names I loved with the others and I think I love Marianne - what's the consensus? Plus I need a middle name. Surname is b e nnett meaning I'll probably look like an Austin freak :)

Marianne Elizabeth
Marianne Sophia
Marianne ?...

Also on sl is Anna, Elizabeth, Susie, Sophia and annalise.

Opinions please and be honest!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Congrats!! :)

I like Anna, Elizabeth and Susie. Not so keen on the others (and think marianne/marianna and annalise/annalisa cause some pronunciation issues because of the possible change of last vowel, although that shouldn't stop you calling her by that name)

What are your other DDs called?

NewYearNewPants · 05/01/2011 19:41

All really lovely names.

Marianne and Ana are my favourites. Have you considered Marianna/Mariana?

I like Susie short for Susannah.

NewYearNewPants · 05/01/2011 19:41

sorry, Anna

perpetuallypregnant · 05/01/2011 19:44

Thanks - other dcs have pretty popular names, actually very popular names :)
Ds Cameron
Jessica Morgan
Lily emma
Ava rose

Have probably totally outed myself now!

You can always have it deleted later :)

They are lovely names. Of your current list, I like Marianne, Anna, Elizabeth and Sophia best.

Not really v keen on Susie, just because I don't like nn names. Annalise is a tiny bit meh, IME.

Good luck!

Firawla · 05/01/2011 19:56

elizabeth with bennett is a bit much maybe? marianne is nice, actually all of them are. for susie i would put it susannah and susie for short, as you seem to like anna anyway then it kind of fits and gives it a full name?
my favourite with your other dc names would be sophia

What does meh mean?

Northernrose · 05/01/2011 20:12

Congratulations!

Do you have feelings over whether dc should have different initials or not? If not, fwiw I love Anna, if you would prefer they had different initials then Sophia gets my vote. I think Anna Elizabeth Bennett or Sophia Marianne/a Bennett are both lovely...

LadyBubbaAndBump · 05/01/2011 20:14

You know - meh - a bit meh. Undescript. Not very anything.

BelligerentGhoul · 05/01/2011 20:16

Marianne is gorgeous. My mythical dd3 is called Marianne Darcy Ghoul - nice, non? :)

Marianne Elizabeth is nice
Marianne Elinor (if you don't mind the Austen link!)
Marianne Beatrice
Marianne Louisa
Marianne Isabella

CDMforever · 05/01/2011 20:23

Oh I see. Thought is was an acronym.

growing3rdbump · 05/01/2011 20:52

My sister is Anna Elizabeth and I think that goes really well. My other favourite on your list is Sophia - maybe Sophia Grace???

spidookly · 05/01/2011 21:00

I love Marianne. Use that. I'll never get to. Stupid DH doesn't like it.

Marianne Louise?

perpetuallypregnant · 05/01/2011 21:01

Thanks all. I love love Anna but Im just not sure if it's 'the one' and I like Marianne as it gives us the option of Anna as a nn.

My Ava is only 7 months so they are constantly going to be referred to together so in that respect I think Ava and Anna go nicely.

Gah... Life would have been so much easier she had been a George :)

Oh and spidookly, I've wanted a Claudia for 13 years since dd1 was born but dh is adamant!!! Every daughter we have I think he'll change his mind but sadly its not to be :(

Oh, Claudia is lovely.

What is wrong with these men? :o

I don't like Ava and Anna so much. Nice names individually, but as names for a pair of children, no. Too many a's.

Rhubarbgarden · 06/01/2011 08:51

I love Marianne, Anna, Annelise, Susannah.

diddl · 06/01/2011 09:13

Oh, Claudia is by far the best!

Lucia?

From your list I like Sophia & Marianne.

Komondor · 06/01/2011 09:13

Love Marianne. All nice names.

chaya5738 · 06/01/2011 12:06

Avoid Sophia as first name. It is waaaaaaaay too popular
